Learn essential mountain biking (MTB) skills to ride your bike safely and have more FUN! Spend your morning with instructors certified by the Bike Instructor Certification Program to learn MTB fundamentals. This class is geared towards beginner riders who would like to learn more about safely riding their bike and increase their bike confidence. Part II of our fundamentals class is an opportunity to:

  • Review fundamental MTB skills like neutral and ready position, bike body separation, braking, shifting, and more!

  • Bike handling skills for stability and control such as ratcheting, small circles, cornering, switchbacks, and rock dodge.

Fundamental skills and drills will be taught with cones on grass or in a parking lot. There will be a short trail ride to apply these concepts to the trail.

This is a fantastic opportunity to level up your mtb skills in a fun, safe, supportive environment. Join us!
