Girls Rock Ride on May 7th – All Levels Welcome!

Hosted by Bicycle Trip & Liv Cycling

We’re returning to home turf and the beautiful trails of Santa Cruz this May, together with generous hosts Bicycle Trip and Liv Cycling. Boy have we got a fun-packed morning for you, filled with food, interesting talks, bike swag and discounts! Space is limited (and they go fast!) so register now for your spot on this all-levels, no-drop ride. We’ll follow our usual format, breaking into groups by ride level and riding to surrounding trailheads, including UCSC bike path, Wilder and Emma McCrary. For info on ride levels, see our Ride Levels page.

Sounds interesting? Read on to find out more!

Try a Liv mountain bike

Curious about women-specific bikes? Or maybe you’ve heard the hype around the all-new Liv Hail? Well, now’s your chance to find out more because the good people of Liv Cycling are bringing their demo fleet to you. Sizes from XS to L are available. Demo bikes are limited in number, so call Bicycle Trip at 831-427-2580 to reserve yours soon. Local coach and Liv ambassador Krista Gray will be present that morning to answer any questions you may have, ride with beginners and offer skills coaching too!

Just for Girls Rock Riders: Receive 20% off all Liv bikes and merchandise, courtesy of Bicycle Trip and Liv! Offer valid through May 28th with special coupon, to be distributed on the day of the ride. Conditions apply.

Do more with bikes

  • Ecology Action, organizer of Bike Week, will talk about how making your weekend bike ride a daily habit can have far reaching benefits. Be sure to sign in for Bike Week at the Ecology Action table for the chance to win an electric bike and other bike-tastic prizes!

  • Looking for a mass cycling event to have fun and meet other riders? Catherine vanRhee from Santa Cruz County Cycling Club will be telling us more about their signature ride, the Santa Cruz Mountain Challenge. This is one of the most scenic, well-supported ride events in this area and a must-do if you love going the distance.

Feed the stoke

The ride ends but the fun doesn’t have to—join us for a post-ride hang out at Seabright Brewery for a no-host afternoon of beer, pub grub and laughter. Bike valet parking is available so getting to fill your tummies is a cinch!
