Girls Rock Ride on November 14th – All Levels Welcome! RSVP Here
The November Girls Rock ride promises to be both exciting and enlightening with hosts, Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBoSC) and the White Lightning brand of bike maintenance and repair products. MBoSC will update us on how becoming an MBoSC member can help get new, rad trails like Emma McCrary and maintain our wonderful existing trails in Santa Cruz, and White Lightning will deliver handy tips and tricks to keep our bikes like new.
MBoSC will provide Verve coffee and pastries while we enjoy a quick overview about the organization and talk about upcoming opportunities to support trail building and other efforts. MBoSC is privileged to host one of Girls Rocks’ most bountiful raffles yet! Two high-end FOX 36 forks, a $500 Trek merchandise gift card, 2 women's-specific Magic Camelbaks, Bell helmet, and a mix of stylish ladies jerseys, tees, socks and hats! Those women who sign up as MBoSC members ($30, so please bring cash or check!) are entered to win in an exclusive drawing that includes most the big-ticket items mentioned above. White Lightning will be providing FREE SAMPLES of small bottles of Epic Ride and Clean Ride, along with a larger bottle of Wash and Shine. Everyone at the clinic will learn how to clean their bike, degrease the drivetrain, and how to lube the chain, pivot points, and suspension.
